The truck stops here: The Burger Tank They’re not your mama’s burgers. Or your mama’s grilled cheeses, for that matter. (Unless your mama gives her sandwiches names like the Insane Burger, in which case we wanna be invited to dinner at your house.) 10 for 10 It’s been 10 years since the TECH Center opened, and since then Owls have visited more than 10 million times (we’d guess Temple students rack up more swipes at the TECH than they do on Tinder). I don’t know, what do you wanna do? We wanna go home for break and watch TV for a week straight. Starting with the Academy Awards next Sunday night—DYK Oscar nominee Adam McKay is a Temple alum? Your fellow Owl was nominated for directing and co-writing The Big Short; the film itself is up for Best Picture. So put on your gown or tux and sit down with your little sis to watch the awards. And if you can make it off the couch to a theater next week, check out the movie. It’s really, really good (just ask the Academy), and you’ll learn so much it’s almost like being in class. If your professor were Ryan Gosling and Brad Pitt and Steve Carell were classmates. Sunday, Feb. 29, 8:30 p.m., airing on ABC and livestreaming via ABC.com.
