Bounce into spring: 13 fun things to do in April

April showers bring...no. Seriously, Mother Nature, do us a solid and let this month be sunny and springy and warm. We’ve earned it, haven’t we? Other things we’ve earned: bouncy rides and outdoor festivals, free concerts and cheap movies, and a life-size Battleship competition that takes place in a Campus Rec pool. These are among the 13 fun things to do on this month’s list of fun things to do; rain or shine, we’ll be doing fun things in April.

It’s on us

One in five women is a victim of sexual violence in college, and a significant number of men experience sexual violence at school, as well. It’s on us to put an end to it. Temple’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee just won a national award for its video about campus sexual assault. And April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month, a good time for all of us to step up. Check out the Wellness Center’s events feed to find out how to participate, and take a pledge to help keep us all safe.
