But before you leave, read about cool grads going cool places, go to a cool party if you are a cool grad, go to another cool party and say goodbye to those not-so-cool squirrels.

All the places
It’s time, seniors. Time for you to don that gown and funny hat and walk across a stage and into the next chapter of your life. Time for speeches and flowers and tears and your family’s tears and pictures of all of you sopped in tears and loud horns and what’s that song again? No, not that one. Pomp and—can’t we just go to dinner already? Amid the hectic schedule of Commencement week, check out some of the seriously awesome places Temple grads are heading: A design firm in Orlando. The Sorbonne. Philadelphia Union. And the happiest of times (yup, survey says so).

I don’t know, what do you wanna do?
We wanna eat and wear cherry and then eat and wear cherry inside a cherry. Which is perfect, ’cause that’s exactly what Temple has in store for its newest alumni. Class of ’16ers can start right after graduation by heading to the Alumni Block Party at the Bell Tower for a free lunch. Then come back to campus immediately, like Saturday, for Dîner en Cherry, where we don’t think you actually eat dinner inside a cherry, but we wouldn’t know ’cause the location’s top secret.

Alumni Block Party
Friday, May 6, after Commencement, Bell Tower, free for 2016 graduates ($5 for other guests)

Dîner en Cherry
Saturday, May 7, 5:30–10 p.m., secret location/multiple rendezvous spots, $45 per registrant through May 4/$30 for young alumni through May 4/$60 at door (price includes two drinks, food, entertainment)

Before you go, let us just say thanks for reading this semester and for letting us crack squirrel joke after squirrel joke, which we promise to ease up on—’cause for those of you returning in the fall, we’ll be back, too. In the meantime: HAGS. You know, Hug a Garbage Squirrel.

We’ll miss you,
