Not in costume

Don’t be frightened, Owls. Those people knocking on your door this weekend are not weirdos dressed up like your parents and, no, they’re not trick-or-treating. They are your parents and they’re here for Temple’s annual Parent and Family Weekend. You know, the one time of the year when it’s totally fine to bring your mom to class with you and let your kid brother scale the Bell Tower! JOKING. It’s the one time of the year you should actually clean your room, stock your mini fridge with cheese and crackers (leftovers, pls) and bring your family to check out our awesome campus and city. Here’s what to do, day by day.

    Get your family time on

I don’t know, what do you wanna do?

We want to chill with the men’s and women’s basketball teams and chill while eating free food. Which is exactly what we’re going to do at this Thursday’s Cherry & White Night, which will ring in the hoops season with entertainment and fun. In addition to chill people, chill music and chill food, we’re gonna get free T-shirts, play video games and win cash. Also, we’re gonna save ourselves some precious time while we’re there and snag our free tickets to Saturday’s Temple-Cincinnati football game—which you are totally going to bring your parents to, right? Right.

Thursday, Oct. 27, 6:30 p.m., Liacouras Center, free
