Your wish is their command

What’s one Temple-related thing you want to do before you graduate? Win a semester’s supply of Nutella-drizzled crepes from the Creperie? Take the Bell Tower home as a lawn decoration? Hang with Matt Rhule for a day? (Don’t we all want to hang with Matt Rhule for a day?) TUTV wants to know. In the spirit of the protracted holiday season that began precisely the moment we took our Halloween costumes off, the generous TV gods are asking you to share your burning wish—’cause they just might grant it. Tweet @templetv and use #TUTVBIG16 by Nov. 15 and you might just be #blessed.

I don’t know, what do you wanna do?

The cold weather has barely started and we’re already so sick of it, so we wanna go somewhere warm and tropical and see some sharks. But since finals are coming up, we’ll just go see Temple’s take on Shark Tank (you know, the show where the gazillionaires in suits throw gazillions at crazy business proposals and we all watch hoping to one day be gazillionaires). Finalists in Temple’s 19th Annual Innovative Idea Competition will pitch their ideas this Thursday to potential investors—live. We’re told the winners will in fact not get pet sharks but will receive more than $7,500 in cash prizes.

Thursday, Nov. 10, 4 p.m., The Egg, Alter Hall, free

    Go see some sharks

The more money we come across, the more problems we solve

...so goes the theme song we just selected for OwlCrowd while we were figuring out how to divide our gazillions. Over the next few weeks, Temple’s crowdfunding campaign is hosting six impressive, worthwhile causes that need your help. A few of the ways you can help include sponsoring a box of fresh produce for a North Philadelphia family; helping the marching band get new uniforms; and supporting the student-run, volunteer campus EMS. You have until Dec. 15.

    Support the crowd
