The Temple community will gather this afternoon to celebrate the life of the university’s eighth president at a memorial service in Sullivan Hall’s Feinstone Lounge. Adamany was an uncompromising advocate for high-quality education who transformed and invigorated the institution. He died last week after a brief illness. He was 80. The service begins at 4 p.m. and is open to all.
