Temple’s music therapy program is leading the charge in educating and training music therapists to provide treatment for people battling cancer. A new study by a Temple faculty member shows the benefits of such therapy.

Joyce Wilkerson, Temple’s senior advisor for community relations and development, dedicates her life to public service. In her new role as chair of Philadelphia’s School Reform Commission, she will work to improve educational opportunities for children in the city’s public-school system.
