Ambler College: Homecoming Weekend 2009
The Ambler College Alumni Association invites you to Homecoming Weekend 2009, held June 6-7, which will include a service project, garden tour, live plant auction and more. All alumni and their guests are welcome.

Saturday, June 6

9:00-11:00 AM 
Service Project in the Landscape Arboretum
Meet at the Greenhouse at Temple University Ambler.
Plant grasses in the sunny meadow of the Ernesta Ballard Healing Garden. 

11:30 AM-1:30 PM
Garden Tour and Lunch at Northview
1650 E. Butler Pike, Ambler, PA
Visit the home garden of Jenny Rose Carey ’03, director of the Landscape Arboretum. Lunch will be provided.
$10 per person

Sunday, June 7

Ambler College Alumni Association Annual Meeting
Dixon Hall, room 101, Temple University Ambler
Campus update by Acting Dean James W. Hilty and alumni association business meeting.

1:00-3:30 PM
Live Plant Auction and Refreshments
Adjacent to the Greenhouse at Temple University Ambler
Donations for the auction are welcome and greatly appreciated. Please drop donations of live plants, tools or other gardening-related goods at the greenhouse on June 7 before 1:00 PM. All proceeds from the auction support the alumni association.

3:30-5:30 PM
Dedication of the Ernesta Ballard Healing Garden
Adjacent to the Greenhouse at Temple University Ambler
The Ambler College Alumni Association will collaborate with the Temple University Ambler Landscape Arboretum to dedicate the campus’ newest garden. Enjoy refreshments with alumni and friends of Ambler College as we dedicate this space in memory of distinguished alumna Ernesta Ballard ’54.
