Temple University School of Medicine
Medical Education and Research Building

Kresge Challenge Countdown: 10 days to reach our goals!

The Kresge Foundation has awarded a $1 million challenge grant to the School of Medicine. We need your help to meet this challenge.

“We applaud Temple University’s efforts to build paths of opportunity within its community through its new building.”
- Rip Rapson, president of the Kresge Foundation

All new gifts and pledges to the building made before May 31 count toward the Kresge Challenge. Individuals can participate with a general gift to the building, with a major gift to name a space or by contributing to one of the following:

The Carson D. Schneck, MD, PhD Gross Anatomy Laboratory

“This state-of-the-art facility will impact every single medical student at Temple, providing the best learning environment possible. It’s an exceptional opportunity to express our gratitude to Dr. Schneck in a permanent and significant way.”

Tom Yucha, MD ’70, and David Yucha, MD ’02
The Lachman Auditorium

“Simply put, it’s payback time for the very positive effect that the Medical School and particularly John Lachman have had on my life and career. His integrity, commitment to teaching and excellent patient care serve as a model for all.”

Joseph Torg, MD ’61
Legacy Giving

“Temple University School of Medicine is an institution where our entire family has grown intellectually for over 50 years.”

Amy Lyons, MD ’07, Wilbert Lyons, MD ’48, Daniel Lyons, MD ’76, and Clifford Lyons, MD ’83
Alumni Bridge

“I decided the Alumni Bridge was the most appropriate place for my gift in honor of my parents because I like the symbolism of connecting the old (Kresge Hall) with the new School of Medicine building.”

P.J. Brennan, MD ’82

Please consider making a gift to help us reach our goal by May 31! Visit www.temple.edu/medicine for more information on each of these initiatives.
