Stop worrying about your finances and take action! Learn ways to effectively manage your personal assets and be financially secure at this seminar geared toward alumni in their 20s and 30s.

Topics: Budgeting Wisely; Digging out of Debt and Understanding your Credit Score; Reaching Your Financial Goals; and Investing for the Future.

Admission is FREE to all Temple alumni.

TUBAA Second Annual Economic Development Symposium: “Withstanding the Winds of Change”

Saturday, Oct. 24, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM (Register by Friday, Oct. 16)
Alter Hall, Main Campus

Join fellow alumni as TUBAA hosts its annual economic development symposium focusing on career development, personal finance, entrepreneurship and real estate. Hear dynamic speakers, network with fellow alumni and learn strategies to navigate and thrive in this current economic climate.

Sample sessions include: Living Within Your Means; Where Are the Jobs and Who Is Hiring?; Sustaining Your Business in a Tough Economy; and How to Buy Your First Home.

TUYA 12th Annual Business Card Exchange and Casino Night

Thursday, Nov. 5, 5:30 PM-8:00 PM
City Hall, Conversation Hall (room 201), Broad and Market streets, Philadelphia

Mingle with fellow Temple young alumni and build your professional contacts at the annual Casino Night hosted by TUYA. Bring your business card to exchange and enter a raffle for great prizes. Temple's Career Center staff will be on hand to discuss the services they offer to job-seeking alumni. The annual Diamond Excellence Award, which celebrates outstanding professional achievement, will be presented to Temple alumna Tracy Davidson, Emmy award-winning broadcast journalist at NBC 10 in Philadelphia.

$15 per person early registration; $20 per person at the door. Cost includes heavy hors d'oeuvres and one drink ticket.
