College of Science and Technology Helps Launch Science Festival in Philadelphia

The inaugural Philadelphia Science Festival, sponsored in part by Temple University, brings science to life with the help of world-class faculty members from the College of Science and Technology. The festival runs from Friday, April 15 through Thursday, April 28 at locations across the Philadelphia region.

Science for everyone
Explore the Nano Dome, combining interactive computer simulations of nanoscale objects with 3D visualizations and force feedback, at the Science Carnival on the Ben Franklin Parkway.
Check out the striking visualizations of the molecular realm created by the Institute for Computational Molecular Science at an art exhibit in Old City.
Learn about the physics of buoyancy at the Independence Seaport Museum.
Going to the Phillies game? Stop by the CST demonstration during Science Day at the Ballpark on Wednesday, April 20.
