Tyler School of Art, Temple University

Dear colleague,

With another semester coming to a close, I am filled with pride at the many accomplishments of our students, faculty and staff. I am writing today to ask that you support our great work by making a gift to the Tyler School of Art.

This has been a notable year, with one esteemed faculty member being awarded a Guggenheim Fellowship and two instructors being selected for an exhibition at the Smithsonian's Renwick Gallery. These are just a few of the many recent successes our colleagues have achieved and shared with our students to motivate and inspire them.

As academic institutions nationwide face dwindling state funding, our united support is more crucial than ever to ensure that today's students and future generations have access to a Temple education. You can make a difference by supporting Tyler's many programs and initiatives, including the Tyler Building Campaign, which supports the creative spaces and state of the art facilities in our fantastic new home. Annual support from faculty and staff not only means maintaining Tyler's reputation as an outstanding visual arts institution, but also means new possibilities for Temple today and in the years to come.

For these reasons and many more, I give to Tyler and encourage you to join me in this effort. Your gift -- no matter the amount -- augments the work of our faculty, staff and students who bring talent and innovation to Philadelphia, the region and the world every day.

Please help keep Temple and the Tyler School of Art strong by making a gift today. If you prefer, you may make your pre-tax gift through payroll deduction.

Thank you, in advance, for your dedication to Temple and its mission!

Sincerely,
Gerard Brown
Assistant Professor and Department Chair, Foundations
