Recommit to being a mentor to current students, alumni

The myowlspace mentor program has been revised and re-energized with a new look, more detailed information and clear expectations for both students and alumni.

Since the program has changed so much since you signed up to be a mentor, we ask you to review the myowlspace mentor web site and recommit to being a mentor.

What does it mean to be a myowlspace mentor?
myowlspace mentors are Temple alumni who agree that they may be contacted by Temple students or fellow alumni for career advice via e-mail. When contacted through the myowlspace network, mentors offer career information, insight and advice based on their personal experience.

How can I volunteer to be a myowlspace mentor?
It's easy to sign up. You'll just need to log in to myowlspace.com and make a few changes to your account. Click here for detailed instructions.

What about expectations and other questions I might have?
Detailed information is available at myowlspace.com/mentor. If you have any additional questions or would like to discuss this program, please contact Rachel Brown, Career Center Director, at 215.204.7981 or rachel.brown@temple.edu.

What's next?
The Career Center is aiming to have at least 500 myowlspace mentors before rolling this out to students later this spring. Sign up today and encourage your friends to join, as well. Please help! It's easy, it's free and it's a great way to help current students.
