Homecoming 2012: Traditions. Temple Made.
Thousands of students, alumni, faculty, staff and families kicked off Temple’s return to the BIG EAST during Homecoming 2012. Highlights included a university wide Pep Rally and football team sendoff, over-the-top Alumni “Tailgate Row” Party, nearly 200 Owls running in the first-ever Homecoming Fun Walk and 5K Run. And, to cap off the weekend, the Temple Owls defeated South Florida, 37-28, in their BIG EAST opener.

Temple Announces Search for Next Provost
Acting President Richard Englert recently announced the launch of an internal search for Temple’s next Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs, citing the overwhelming talent pool of Temple’s current tenured faculty.

School of Pharmacy Extends its Global Outreach to Vietnam
Student and faculty representatives from the School of Pharmacy traveled to Vietnam on a month-long medical mission this past summer, treating more than 1,500 patients and donating more than 450 gift packages containing rice, noodles and other supplies.

Hanover, N.H.
