The College of Science and Technology will host TEDxTempleU on Saturday, April 20. TED celebrates "ideas worth spreading," and CST’s TEDx event will explore how scientists investigate the world, embrace uncertainty and the unexpected and, ultimately, discover new knowledge.
Hailing from biology, mathematics, genomics and beyond, TEDxTempleU features some of CST’s most engaging and accomplished professors. Go on a deep-sea dive in an Alvin submersible, see and hear the patterns between our genes and music, and cross the divide between stories and statistics.
Then, during lunch, meet fellow audience members and speakers, discuss and debate what you’ve heard and draw your own conclusions.
