College of Science and Technology

owl to owlDear [[first name]],

CST graduates can make a real difference in a young researchers career by taking part in the college’s Undergraduate Research Program Symposium. The URP Symposium is a chance for students to present their advanced research to fellow students, faculty, potential employers and alumni.

This symposium consists of poster and oral presentations, and last year we had more 40 students participate and 250 students attend. This year’s symposium takes place Friday, October 4 on Main Campus.

CST graduates can help provide valuable feedback and real-world advice to our students by participating as a judge or poster reviewer. Each student’s research is evaluated by at least three reviewers so it is critical to get a diverse set of professionals to participate. CST students really appreciative the time and expertise alumni provide. If you are currently employed at a company that hires biology, chemistry, physics, earth & environmental science or math majors, we will be happy to discuss the possibility of allowing your organization to set up an information table at the symposium.
