When it opens this fall, the new Science Education and Research Center (SERC) will transform Temple University and the College of Science and Technology by expanding scientific exploration, attracting additional research funding and bringing new discoveries to market. SERC features:
- an advanced scanning tunneling microscope facility.
- Class 100 and Class 1000 clean rooms.
- teaching and research labs for the departments of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer and Information Sciences, and Earth and Environmental Sciences.
- space for CST students to participate in more real-world research.
- a collaborative environment to support leading-edge science.
