Named The Wall Street Journal’s “Architecture Innovator” of 2013, David Adjaye of Adjaye Associates is recognized as a leading architect of his generation. Adjaye Associates is currently the lead designer for the Smithsonian’s National Museum of African American History and Culture located on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. Other notable projects include a silk weaving facility for fashion designer Maiyet in India and a new collection of furniture for Knoll.
